Coming to our fair state on May 28th, specifically The Depot, is one of the most unique and darkly alluring two-piece bands in the world of garage-rock, although with their fast-then-slow, loud-then-soft electric twang and dance-able drums, it may be hard to label The Kills as such. The last time we had the priveledge of witnessing the raw energy of The Kills was at the beloved Twilight Concert Series. While Twilight is one of our favorite elements of the Salt Lake summer eco-system, it will undoubtedly be amazing to see this enigmatic band in a more intimate setting.

The Kills' new album "Ash & Ice" is set to be released to the world on June 2nd, and if their two newest songs on Spotify are any indication of the rest of the album, it is sure to be one for the collection. With a dynamic live perforance that can make you feel like you're at a beautiful funeral dance party, The Kills, along with the gritty riffs and haunting vocals of LA Witch, are sure to bring the same passion and brand of audio sensations to The Depot on May 28th as they have in Salt Lake shows past.
